KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop engaging, creative, and brand-aligned content, including videos, graphics, and written posts across different social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Stay updated with emerging trends on social media and adjust content strategies accordingly.
- Write compelling captions, taglines, and CTAs for all platforms to drive engagement and interactions.
Visual & Video Content Production
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content independently or collaboratively, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand tone.
- Serve as the on-camera talent for video content, showcasing confidence and creativity while engaging with the audience.
- Create graphics and visual content using Canva or similar tools, ensuring brand consistency.
- Adapt and repurpose content formats to suit various platform requirements while maintaining cohesive messaging.
Creative Briefing & Coordination
- Develop detailed briefs for designers and videographers as needed.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, and other creative team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Community Engagement
- Actively engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and real-time interactions, building a strong online presence.
- Collaborate with influencers and creators to generate content ideas and initiate partnerships.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Content Creators for potential collaborations and content amplification.
- Encourage, collect, and curate User-Generated Content (UGC) from followers, influencers, and brand advocates, integrating it into content strategies.
- Monitor and respond to UGC submissions, fostering a community-driven approach to content creation.
Content Scheduling & Posting
- Plan, schedule, and publish content regularly across all platforms, maintaining consistency in posting cadence and brand messaging.
- Be available for occasional in-person event coverage, capturing real-time content and hosting live interactions.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and growth.
- Prepare reports summarizing key metrics, trends, and insights, offering recommendations for improved content strategies.
- Any other ad hoc activities as directed by management
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Must have a proven track record of creating engaging content and experience managing a social media account (personal or brand). Minimum 1 years’ experience in a digital marketing or marketing position preferred.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok’s platform, features, and audience preferences.
- Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and basic on-camera presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability in using TikTok’s in-app tools or mobile apps like CapCut or InShot.
- General confidence in using various software and tools for work.
- Strong copywriting skills in Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in English is a bonus.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret basic analytics and make content adjustments.

- Self-starter with a passion for creativity, storytelling, and social media.
- Comfortable appearing on-camera and creating engaging, personable content.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Adaptable and culturally aware, with an understanding of local trends and culture.
Additional Information
- Work Hours: Flexible, focusing on content output and engagement rather than a strict 9-5.
- Hybrid Work: Primarily remote, with occasional in office meetings and on-ground event coverage.
